We are storytellers of

loved ones lost to overdose

A Light to Remember is a movement as well as an organization, which honors those lost to substance abuse, raises awareness about the dangers of opioids, and creates an impactful event for those in treatment.

The annual event is currently held on International Overdose Awareness Day (August 31), in multiple counties throughout Utah. A Light to Remember was created by siblings Michelle Church and Aaron Pace, and the movement continues on by his family in honor of Aaron’s legacy.

The program has aligned with Utah State University’s HEART Extension for administrative and event support.

“Substance Abuse took a lot from us. We didn’t want the journey to be in vein.”
